Christopher Johnson's ASCII Art Collection was revealed to the Internet in November of 1994, back when Netscape 1.0 was "soooo much better than Mosaic" and Internet Explorer didn't exist yet. Here we are 12 years later, and if my web-server traffic statistics are any indication, ASCII art is more popular now than it's ever been.

Streets are strangely clean, trees look plastic, and odd distortions of scale create the opposite effect of what we expect from aerial photography--a complete overview, like military surveillance.
- The 'Safe Bedside Table' [Link] It is reported that 50% of people in London are worried about security and sleep with some form of self-defence to hand, for use against intruders. This table has a removable leg that acts as a club and a top that doubles as a shield for self-defence.

- Niagara Falls DAREDEVILS: a history [Link] Daredevils can be best summarized as persons who wish to take conscious risks with their lives with the emphasis on survival. However, some risks are so great that the chances of survival based upon a balance of probabilities become so little that they become suicidal in nature. It may be a thin line of definition but a line none the less. Now days, the art of being a daredevil has become so sophisticated that chances of survival are almost predictable.
