Great people to know is one thing. Knowing great people is completely another... (Don't ask where I found that gem of a principle, so that it may not be negated - Spook)
- Robert & Shana ParkeHarrison [Link] Click on "Gallery" or "Current Work," you won't regret it. The pictures are surreal.
- PocketCalculatorShow.com's Nerd Watch Museum [Link] Includes a message board at the bottom.
- the narrative [Link] Just pictures and comments. Fantastic pictures. Really fantasic pictures.
- TWISTED VID: Beer stand [Link] Okay, enough galleries, watch a fat kid sell alcohol on the street.
- TWISTED ANIM: Neuro [Link] No peace in this apartment building.
- Kids' Ideas About Love [Link] Kids, aged 5 to 10, were asked questions about what they thought of love and marriage. Here's what they said.
- TWISTED NEWS: Hard-headed woman foils thieves [Link] That's what they get when they try and use water guns to mug someone.
- Dog is a god [Link] Forget the concept, click on "PHOTO" and view houses suitable for small dogs.
- Eat Hufu [Link] EEEWWW The Healthy Human Flesh Alternative!
- Bottom Feeder [Link] In the bottom feeder laboratories and test kitchens, we are always busy eating. If we're not trying out some recipe we found on the web, we're searching the shelves of our nearby grocer for some new product to eat and review. Partly because we're hungry, but mostly in the name of product review science. If we ate it and survived, we'll review it here.
My Usual Self-Questionnaire.
What's playing? Bush - Mouth
What was the last thing my TV did? Watched a bit of The Crow but decided this was better. I'll finish it later, after a short nap.
How am I feeling? Why? Lazy and kinda tired. I plan to fix that though.
Complete this: "The Weather Is..." FLUCKIN' GRR-R-R-R-R-REAT!!!
Random Comments: You know, when I look back on this moment in my life, I really wanted it to work. I wanted this to be the biggest moment in the history of entertainment. I'm not kidding! I wanted everyone to wake up the next morning, talking about me...Howard Stern! That's the kind of thinking though that usually gets me into trouble. [Link to this .wav file]

Lowbrow Moment:
(I steal these, not experience them. But, I may have some empathy for them)
I used to cut up the plastic things that hold a six pack together so the cute little duckies wouldn't get strangled.
Then Lindsey told me turtles ate the cut up plastic, and then died.
So now I don't.
I like turtles better than ducks.
My Usual Self-Questionnaire.
What's playing? Amorphis - My Kantele
What was the last thing my TV did? Watched Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2 yesterday.
How am I feeling? Why? Nothing really. Not awake yet.

Apparantly the chief and council have been seriously misappropriating band funds for the worse part of a decade, engaging in mismanagement, embezzlement, larceny, bribery and intimidation. - TWISTED MEME: What Does Your Birth Date Mean? [Link] My answer: Your birth on the 10th day of the month adds a tone of independence and extra energy to your life. The number 1 energy suggest more executive ability and leadership qualities than you path may have indicated. A birthday on the 10th of any month gives greater will power and self-confidence, and very often a rather original approach. Logical and strategic, you prefer for everything in your life to be organized. You tend to be a bit skeptical. You're both critical of yourself and of others. But let's start with this week's holidays:
May 23 - Penny Day
May 24 - National Escargot Day
May 25 - Tap Dance Day
May 26 - Sally Ride Day
May 27 - Sun Screen Day
May 28 - Amnesty International Day
May 29 - JFK Day
Happy Victoria Day. Today's the day we celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday. Happy birthday you old bat!

Although I've been too busy to update my homepage, I don't have much to report: living a boring life, doing boring things and otherwise having boring fun. Sure I could make more friends and generally interact with more people, but people suck, the world sucks and you suck. What are you doing here at my homepage? Oh.. it was an accident eh? In that case, welcome to my online adventures and semi-personal blog.
Spring is finally in full bloom. The sun is annoying my much earlier in the morning and the days are getting warmer. Mother nature isn't so schizophrenic anymore and all signs, threats and memories of snow have faded and are now gone. I'm sleeping better, but that's because I've learned to take naps during the day and (kind of) get to sleep earlier. Not to mention I also wake up at all sorts of times in the morning. Watching the sky brighten from a dark blue to a bright gray (damn clouds) is becoming a hobby.
My mountain bike is getting some good work these days too. I head out to Frog Rapids Bridge or all the way to Fred & Dee's Corner as often as I can. I'm always checking the weather forecast for a suitable day to go and always anticipating. I love riding. I was already out to Fred & Dee's today, the whole thing took me about an hour because I stopped at to watch people fish off the bridge to F&D's then again at mile-five beach on the way back just to have a seat, write a bit in my notebook and check out the area. Nothing interesting to report, but looking across the lake I could see the Sioux Lookout water tower and it looked like a hell of a long way to bike. Then I berated myself for thinking such a feeble thought and reminded myself that I could be there in a short 20 minutes at a mild cruising speed. I'm glad to tell you that hauling my fat ass around on my bike is getting easier.
I also made it out to the golf course this year too. Naturally my game is terrible and my driving is horrendous, but that was still only my first game and I play only once or twice a year. My cousin and I started late (and we were hungover from the previous night too) and naturally bought a few beers to give us some bottled energy and all that. We saw a couple deer on the fourth hole and Geo managed to get quite close to it (about fifteen feet) but other than that, the deer strolled off, obviously annoyed at our presence. We continued golfing badly until the sun set and we were forced to abandon our game on the seventh hole. Afterwards we went to the Fifth Avenue Club for a small, refreshing meal and called it a day.
What else is keeping me busy? Work and a few of my hobbies: PS2 games, web surfing and weightlifting. They go well together because after lifting I have to rest, heh! And remember, if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

My Horoscope for This Week - LIBRA
(born between 24th September and 23rd October)
A casual remark made by someone you hardly know could have you mulling over ideas regarding shared financial interests. Maybe there are better ways of putting your cash to more profitable use. Perhaps you could do more with your money when it comes to day-to-day living expenses, but before pulling out of a deal with a long-term partner to set up with someone new, ask yourself whether or not you can really trust them.
My Usual Self-Questionnaire.
What's playing? Rammstein - Morgenstern
What was the last thing my TV did? Played Sly 2 on and off all weekend. That and watched Return of the Jedi and The History Channel VE Day movies. All three of them.
How am I feeling? Why? It's humid in here.
Complete this: "The Weather Is..." Dreary. I hope work is good today.
Random Comments: I like to mess around on telemarketers. I like the flirty ones the best. They even have a rule where they're not supposed to tell you the colour of their panties. I'm getting to them!

The Alcohol Knowledge Test [Link]
The Zombie Scenario Survivor Test [Link]
Bourbon Congratulations! You're 104 proof, with specific scores in beer (100) , wine (50), and liquor (52). |
Screw all that namby-pamby chick stuff, you're going straight for the bottle and a shot glass! It'll take more than a few shots of Wild Turkey or 99 Bananas before you start seeing pink elephants. You know how to handle your alcohol, and yourself at parties. |
|
My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender: | You scored higher than 8% on proof | | You scored higher than 90% on beer index | | You scored higher than 79% on wine index | | You scored higher than 77% on liquor index |
|
Official Survivor Congratulations! You scored 82%! |
Whether through ferocity or quickness, you made it out. You made the right choice most of the time, but you probably screwed up somewhere. Nobody's perfect, at least you're alive. |
|
My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender: | You scored higher than 74% on survivalpoints |

Complete this: "The Weather Is..." Cold. Too cold for May 2.
Random Comments: Chefs impress some people, but they piss me off. Just because they work
in a snooty restaurant they think they can demand large prices and
select their clientele.
Meanwhile, construction workers across the street work hard building
large structures and they have to bring their low-cost lunches with them
because the chefs won't serve them food.
The fruits of their labours will last decades, while the very next day
most of the chefs' work will be garbage. Or poo.
